The completion of this successful 10-day audit demonstrates the global company’s commitment to quality, safety, and patient care.

In 2014, MEDISCA implemented MasterControl, a robust Quality Management System allowing standardization of documentation, systems and processes across the company as it continues to expand globally. MEDISCA applies both validated electronic systems as well as physical segregation of material within its facilities to ensure quarantined, rejected, returned or recalled material is held in quarantine status until authorized personnel is able to determine whether there’s a risk to patients. Beyond MEDISCA’s rigorous facility requirements, the company also requires its manufacturers to be FDA registered and subject to regulatory inspections; requires evidence that the manufacturer produces APIs according to GMP; enforces a quality agreement to be signed; ensures APIs meet the latest pharmacopoeia; and reviews stability studies to validate all manufacturers’ expiration dates.
