This top mount vented balance enclosure with its own integral exhaust fan, double HEPA Bag-in/Bag-out exhaust filters, stable air flow and low vibration characteristics, facilitates highly accurate weighing, and turbulence-free airflow with demonstrably cross-contamination-free characteristics. It is essential to protect the user’s health and ensures safety by containing and virtually eliminating exposure to potent powders. The system is designed to recirculate filtered air back into the lab or can be attached to the house exhaust. The Bag-in/Bag-out system is designed for safe disposal and replacement of the HEPA filter by a certified technician. The convenient front panel access has an Easy-lock system that secures the filter so no tools are required. A secondary HEPA filter is located between the primary filter and the motorized impeller to prevent contaminants that might migrate downstream during the Bag-in/Bag-out disposal.
